Yes, Belladonna is always by appointment. This ensures that your bridal consultant can give you their undivided attention during your visit. Appointments can be booked through our online booking system or by calling the shop directly on 091 755139.

We suggest booking a weekend appointment up to 2 weeks in advance and 48 hours in advance for a weekday appointment, if you have a specific time or date you would like to book. There is a €25 booking fee for all full consultations.

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. You’ll know when you’re ready to go wedding dress shopping. It’s usually advisable to have your dress ordered around a year in advance of your wedding, but don’t panic if you have less time than this before your wedding, as many of our designers offer an amazingly quick delivery service.

For your first appointment with Belladonna we would always allow up to an hour and a half for a full bridal styling consultation.

If you just can’t stop thinking about your favourite dress after your consultation, we suggest you book a Retry Appointment. This is a 45-minute appointment to try on, and say yes to your dress.

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy on our appointments. Any consultation fees paid can be refunded or transferred to an alternative date with 48 hours’ notice. Any changes/cancellations made without 48 hours’ notice cannot be refunded.

You’re welcome to bring 2-3 adult guests with you. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about the guest policy. We like to be flexible but sometimes we need to set some boundaries. We kindly ask that children are not brought to appointments.

Our dresses generally range from €1,400-3,500 for our reorder dresses and from €800-2,000 for our off the rail collection. We will ask you for your dress budget when you make your first appointment, and we’ll pick the best selection of dresses to suit you within your price range.

Our shop samples are from 10-28. Sample dress sizes are different to high street sizing, and you may find yourself looking at different sizes to what you would normally wear. It is very rare to find a sample that fits perfectly; your consultant is trained to pin the dresses to fit your form.

We suggest you have a look at our website in advance and take note or screenshot any dresses you might like to try. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know what you want, we’re here to help you find your style.

We ask that fake tan is not worn to appointments. We also ask that make-up is kept to a minimum to protect the dresses from staining.

Don’t be surprised if you find your perfect dress on your first appointment with us. It’s much easier than you think!

You can take photos, but we advise against it. There are many reasons for this, but most importantly the dress won’t fit you perfectly, so a photo image isn’t a great reminder. Focus on how the dress made you feel. You can view images of all our dresses on our Collection page.

It’s a happy moment when a bride says Yes to the Dress with Belladonna. The first thing we do is toast your success with some bubbles!

We take measurements and order your dress. Wedding dresses generally arrive in Belladonna 3 months before your wedding, which allows sufficient time for alterations.

We require a 50% deposit when you order your dress. When your dress arrives, we’ll let you know and you can schedule your collection appointment within 2 weeks of the dress arriving. Your remaining balance is due at this appointment. We are happy to offer payment plan options and will discuss this at your consultation.

If you are buying a shop sample, we require 100% payment, as you take the dress home with you that day.

We do not carry out any alterations in-house, as we are not trained alteration specialists. We will give you a list of suggested specialists when you order your dress with Belladonna.

Belladonna is located in the Centrepoint Building, in Liosban, Galway, H91 D2PY.

We are a first floor building and are accessed by stairs.

There is FREE on street parking in the Liosban area. There is also a metered car park to the rear of the Centrepoint building.
